Even competent care and preventive measures can not guarantee the absence of problems with the health of the dog. That’s why the animal owner must always keep alert and pay attention to its condition. Any alarm signals from the husky body should be a reason to visit the veterinary.

Alarming symptom
In case of health problems, the following manifestations are observed:
weakness in the body;
loss of appetite;
increased salivation, vomiting;
copious discharge of mucus from the nose;
problematic breathing, cough;
digestive disorder;
abdominal distention;
frequent urination;
copious discharge from the genitals.
If any of these symptoms are accompanied by an increase of body temperature, then the problem is real. It can be measured using an electronic or mercury thermometer. The first option is much safer for the animal.
Before starting the procedure, treat the tip of the thermometer with vaseline or cream. Then carefully insert it into the dog’s anus, holding the pet. Remove the thermometer after 5 minutes. A value above 39°C indicates the presence of problems. Only a veterinary can understand the cause of the animal’s ailments. The earlier you go to a specialized clinic, the more chances of a successful recovery has husky.
Before prescribing treatment, the patient must go through a number of diagnostic procedures. The dog may be appointed to perform an ultrasound, ECG or x-ray. Laboratory blood tests are mandatory.
Plague
A viral disease that is transmitted through sick dogs and wild animals (wolves, minks, foxes). Infection occurs through contact with a virus carrier. Symptoms of the disease are expressed in a sluggish state, vomiting, diarrhea, refusal of the dog from food, snuffling breath.
Sometimes the plague causes paralysis of the hind legs. Animals that have had this disease at an early age may feel limb tremors.
For specification of the diagnosis it is necessary to contact the veterinary clinic. Vaccination will help to avoid the development of the disease.
Rabies
A dangerous disease that can’t be treated and leads to the death of the animal. At the same time, it is transmitted to people. Infection occurs through the saliva of an infected dog after biting the victim. The incubation period lasts from 14 to 60 days, sometimes up to 12 months.
Among the symptoms should be highlighted a change in the behavior of the dog, increased anxiety, aggression. In this case, the husky may have a fear of water, difficulty swallowing, increased salivation.
The functions of the Central nervous system are disturbed in the presence of this disease. Rabies leads to paralysis, and then to the death of the animal. So that the dog does not have time to harm the person, it is very important to place it in a specialized section for quarantine in a timely manner.
